Welcome to another episode of Realm News! With your host The Dark Lord. In this episode we are covering the Mooshroom Island biomes in the game of Minecraft in the Overworld. These isolated biomes are a place of mystere. We are going to be covering a whole bunch of topics and I am throwing in some polls that I put on Reddit and read those results to you and also read a part of a description from a fellow Minecraft enthusiast mesmerfriend(Time Stamp:46:00). We will delve into real life mycelium with an article by Johnston,Eddie, and Grace Brewer. (“Mycelium:Exploring the Hidden Dimension of Fungi-Kew.”Www.kew.org, 11 Mar. 2023), and the descriptions of the Mooshroom and their function (Wiltshire, Alex, et Al. Mobeastiary. New York, Del Rey, 2017. Pgs.16-17, then onto fly agaric and the land of Beringuia (Time Stamp: 37:30) that I found online by (Mitton, Jeff. “Fly Agaric and Related Death Cap Mushrooms Synthesize Dangerous Chemicals.” Colorado Arts and Sciences Magazine, 31 Aug. 2021) , mushroom affects in game from (Minecraft.fandom.com, Time Stamp: 43:19) and an amazingly creepy video by National Geographic that went alongside an amazingly written piece by Lu, Jennifer. “How a parasitic Fungus Turns Ants into Zombies.” National Geographic, 18 April. 2019). We are tying together this theory of the Mooshroom biome to real world article listed above. I believe that the Mooshroom biome is responsible for the zombie apocalypse as we know it today in the Overworld. Again, this is a theory but I back it with science and research and provide you fun facts and facts and functionality of blocks and mobs! Take a seat and let me read to you a Realm News!!!
