003: Today on the podcast we are talking to Averi Ryner. Averi is a women’s physique trainer specializing in empowering women to feel confident in their skin through lifting and holistic nutrition. Her certifications include a NASM certification and 200-hour yoga teacher training. After overcoming her toxic relationship with food and her body, Averi teaches other women how to cultivate self-love while working towards their goals.
In this episode, we learn about Averi’s first experience of getting into fitness, how to face the challenges of hitting a weight loss or other fitness plateau, and how she overcame her toxic habits to discover balance. We also talk about the traits that the best personal trainers demonstrate, what most people get wrong when they start going to the gym, as well as the joys of rediscovering a childlike love for movement.
