Description

Social media, and the Internet as a whole, has become a very essential - one could even say almost inseparable - part of modern business strategy. Countless companies now use Facebook and Instagram to find clients, sell products, and build up their brand. In a way, doing business online is the only way, and doing anything offline is just 'old school.'

But what happens when the Internet - or more specifically, social media - goes down?

In this episode of 'The One Percent Podcast', Shane and Vin discuss how important social media has become in today's business. They also talk about the Meta outage that occurred on March 5, 2024, and possible problems that could happen if the Internet went down for days, weeks, or months (DOOM! as Vin said), and about diversifying your business. Listen to their thoughts today!

Here's a question for you all: if all social media platforms were to go down right now (and be out for say a week), would your business survive? Why? Why not? Share in the comments below!
