Today for Episode 044 the topic is Choose Gratitude
What is Gratitude? It is defined as:
the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
How do we show gratitude in our lives?
It can be easy to tell someone thank you or show appreciation and kindness but do you show yourself gratitude?
Why would we want to show gratitude to ourselves?
- Important to recognize what each of us is grateful for
- Reflect on where we are at in life
- For us in the gym it is important to be grateful for our health and recognize that we love and care enough for ourselves to take the time to keep ourselves in shape.
- Even if you are not happy with where you are at on this journey at this point take the time to reflect and be grateful for where you are at.
When we take the time to celebrate and show gratitude to ourselves we return kindness to ourselves and that makes us happier so that we can show up for who we want to be and be better for everyone around us!
The challenge I have for you today is to write down in a journal or a piece of paper what you can celebrate about you and be grateful for! Don’t type it write it down and leave it out where you can see it and reflect on it.
