The 2021 CrossFit Open kicks off March 12th at CrossFit Preferred with three-weeks of Friday Night Lights from 4:00pm to 7:00pm!   

CrossFit Open 2021 Divisions  This year the CrossFit Open has a new foundations division for those that do not want to or are not yet able to compete in the RX or scaled division!    

This is a super fun team building experience that really brings our gym together. One of the greatest things about CrossFit is the community it provides. The CrossFit Open/Friday Night Lights Event is a perfect opportunity to show your support to your fellow friends and athletes at CrossFit Preferred and help our gym build camaraderie. It doesn't matter if you're 14, 40, or 64. Just starting out or a muscle-up pro. Whether you're an RX athlete, scaled athlete or brand new to CrossFit there is a place for you in the CrossFit Open. Don’t miss out!!  

CrossFit Preferred FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS  Sign up deadline is Friday February 26th Cost is $30  Includes an Open T-Shirt and places you on a team  Team lead by 2 Coaches 3 weeks of workouts. 4 Levels of workouts to fit your needs  RX Scaled Foundations  Equipment Free   

Athletes divided into 6 Categories  RX male & female Scaled male & female Foundations male & female Equipment Free male & female  Friday Night Lights Event  Held every Friday night starting March 12th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Open Gym Style.
 Open workout will be the workout of the day for every class that Friday.
 

Athletes will be scored individually and their score will then be added to their teams total score.
 Over all team winner will be announced at the end of the open. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team!

Owner and Coach Kris LeSueur believes that fitness is a great building block for helping people improve their lives. “I love how health and fitness help people feel better about themselves,” he says. “I love the confidence it builds for each individual person.”  

Kris has spent a lot of years training for marathons, adventure racing, and triathlons. His most notable athletic accomplishment was finishing SEALFIT Kokoro Camp, a 50+ hour (no sleep allowed!) event based on Navy SEAL Hell Week training. He’s completed two full-distance Ironman Triathlons (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run), multiple half-Ironmans, qualified for Xterra Triathlon Nationals and completed multiple adventure races and marathons. “I love anything endurance related,” he says. “When you start to think about quitting and you do not in these type of events, you really discover who you are in life.”
