I met Joel at the first sharing circle held at IceBreakers UK in August 2023 a men’s community Joel founded in Brighton centred around weekly cold-water dips.

I started my own journey to better understand masculinity wanting to understand how to show up in the modern world and connect as a man. David Chambers, Rick Cooper, Richard Day, Tom Woodfin, Beth Derry, Tim Bidey have been influential coaches & mentors on that journey guiding me through the inner work which led me to meet Joel.

Sometimes you need someone outside of you to reflect back to you the journey you have been on, so you can see yourself clearly and move forward with your path with further clarity.

That is the work I did for Joel.

I supported Joel to further recognise his own journey empowering him to continue forward with a further polished ‘why’.

Joel shares his story of leaving a successful business he co-founded after 13 years. Joel grew disconnected from the business which spilt into other areas of his life. Realising he was the only person who could change this, Joel shares the story of leaving the business and how his new business In Your Corner was born from his own inner work journey.

Joel’s core offerings (so far) are Your Away Day giving people one day a month to work on their business, and one on one coaching where Joel gives people support to build their business in-line with the life that they want and need.

Now, In Your Corner is growing further into a community. That is at the heart of what Joel is building. Putting people in a place where they can mingle and create.
