Description

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!!

This week we are joined by a registered dietician, so you better believe nutrition is the aim of the game for this one.

Niamh has worked all over the world and is now currently working in Oncology in Australia.
Today she shares some of what’s she has learned over her career with us and answers lots of Eoghan’s own nutrition-based questions.

This is a very beneficial podcast for all listeners and particularly those in the sporting world, as Niamh is currently studying sports dietetics, so she has lots of sports related nutritional information to share with us.

We cover lots in this podcast, but here’s a few topics to give you a flavour:

Carb loading, importance of staying hydrated, electrolytes, big misconceptions around nutrition, easy diet changes, pre-game/event nutrition, checking on supplements for prohibited substances.

Lotta gold in this podcast and it’s one I can see myself referring to again in the future, hope you enjoy it 😊
