Vic Theriault is one of Quebec Combat Sports' most pivotal figures. Vic spoke about finding martial arts with his brother Jean Yves “Iceman” Theriault in youth parlaying it in competitions in Ontario and then coming to Quebec after Ontario’s boxing commission banned kickboxing due to rising popularity. Vic explained how he turned Quebec into a hotspot for combat sports in kickboxing by bringing the first mixed martial arts event into Canada with the outcome being straight out of a movie to being part of history in the early days of Ultimate Fighting Championship. Vic spoke about his role as ISKA Director of Ring Sports with his aims to develop upcoming talent uniting all associations to legalize MMA and kickboxing in Canada.
