Description

Timberdoodle Farm is a specialty logging and sawmill business based in Strafford, New Hampshire. On this episode we talk with one half of the business, Katrina Amaral. Katrina owns and operates the business with her husband Miles.

With a background in wildlife biology, she now works at the intersection of conservation and construction, producing sustainably and locally-sourced lumber products.

She is passionate about connecting people to the forest, building local supply chains for wood products, and supporting the small business ecosystem.

Together we talk about their humble beginnings, her love of nature and birds, and what it's like working with the seasons and weather changes, as well as transparency and sustainability in the lumber industry. We hope you enjoy this episode!
