After 12 months of recording in dubious locations and learning, we hit the huge milestone of publishing the podcast to the public! Ethan discusses the final gap work needed to make it possible, and all the learning that required as well, from brainstorming a name, creating an animated logo with music for the intro, adding quality captions, writing episode titles and show notes then of course, uploading it online!
Then together discuss additional things learned from reviewing the backlog of episodes & why the new tools coming out today make right now the best time to start a podcast.
Finally we look at what creation related skills you could have already just from living your life. Ethan & Ryan reflect on what skills their unrelated experiences might have given them, and how much of a head start other’s may have from a seemingly normal life. Then compare that to the starting point for some of the people we’re emulating and trying to catch up with.
