Bob Gialanellagraduated Class of 1970 from Stevens, with a BE in Mechanical Engineering. He decided to pursue a medical career after a brief time in the corporate world. This journey started in Angiers, France at the Faculty of Medicine. Years down the line, he would join a GI group practice for the next 20 years, utilizing his engineering background to become a consultant. During this conversation with host Ed Eichhorn, Bob goes over how he approached his unique path to a medical career, the changes he saw with the shift in technology through the years, and how he handled problem solving in medicine coming as someone from an engineering background.
