Donald Kennedy graduated from Stevens in the Class of 1969. Throughout his career, Donald forged a path from pre-med student up to becoming the Chief of Medicine at St. Louis City Hospital and a professor at St. Louis University. With The Division of Infectious Diseases at St. Louis University, he oversaw developments in immunology and vaccine research for over 20 years. In 2020, he became a “COVID Czar” during the pandemic due to his familiarity with prevention policies for communicable diseases. With host Ed Eichhorn, Donald describes what changes he has seen as a physician from the 1970’s and onward, the many career path choices he was presented with and how others can approach such decisions in their own careers.
