Description

In episode 16 our comedy music improv is leveled up as we discuss Christmas Caroling. Herman then challenges the CYGNU6, Corby, and Tim to sing a tune from their favorite Christmas song.

Has anyone ever sat on a music project for months or perhaps years because the song is never done? We discuss the creative process of making a song and determine when it is done. No matter what, it always seems like there is some flaw, something to be added, or knob that needs to be turned in the process so we never get to finish our song.

It seems most of us (artists) are never truly satisfied with a project and always find something else to fix or add. Often times too much is simply too much. So when do we say "its perfect" and actually believe? We discuss this and if you feel like you go through this, you are not the only one. We do it too!

Artist Shoutout
Ivan Grap is a pop artist and he recently submitted to one of our label's playlist. He sent in "And I Said Take Me Home" and we loved it. Great job Ivan and be sure to give him a listen on Apple Music here:

If you would like to submit a song to get listed on one of our playlists, please submit your music link to:

We also give our music advice with sharing your music links or files with a music company or some sort of music entity, or supervisor. Make sure you do your research to who you are sending your music too. Know what the company is about and the music the promote. See if your music is a perfect fit to them and why.

We believe that writing a creative sentence or two about your music will help you get the attention you deserve. Often times I see artist just emailing a link and nothing else. No name or brie description. Be sure to tell people who you are and why they should listen to your music.
