Daniel shares his frustrating experiences of having to withdraw from events due to event organisers' failure to meet his accessible requirements. He also recounts an incident during air travel that resulted in his wheelchair getting broken. Despite these challenges, Daniel's resilience shines through as he shares his inspiring journey of being named the QLD Young Australian of the Year for his remarkable efforts in saving endangered orangutans, a cause he passionately pursues alongside his brother. Furthermore, Daniel is currently working on a research project looking into community transport for his university studies, showcasing his commitment to making the world a more inclusive place.
