Today we are going to discuss Open Water Swimming and Race Day Swimming.
First, we start with HEART, and today we will focus on awareness.
Self-awareness is the knowledge and awareness of your own personality or character. When you’re self-aware, you have an accurate and clear understanding of your personality, strengths, weaknesses, and beliefs.
-Take control of your life
-Find out what is standing in your way and find the power to make adjustments
-Learn tips on how to improve your self-awareness
Last week you learned some tips to start and improve swimming. Now let’s discuss open water and race day swimming tips.

-What to do if you get tired
No one wins the race on the swim portion of a triathlon, so take your time. Keep your heart rate low and swim at a steady pace. You can make up time on the bike or the run.
