How can we truly know who God is if we haven't truly learned who we are? We're more than sinners, we're fallen creatures who because of our fall, the earth itself fell and it is all awaiting a transformation -- which won't come UNTIL God restores us again. That there is more than 10 commandments. This means there's more to those sins that were written on those stones. The commandment says, "Love God with all your heart"... Have you accomplished that? "Love your wife"... Have you accomplished that?... "Be holy as God is holy"... How's that working out for you? And to add insult to injury, you can't get there from here! And that's what grace is all about -- we have to put on "an alien righteousness" in order to get there. "Put on Christ". But that's positional, not practical just as "We're seating with Christ in the Heavenlies". Therefore, the purge of US has to be a life-walk and our sanctification progressive. ONLY WHEN He comes back will we be perfected - until then we are to desire to be walking in that perfecting to which we have been called.
