It's so easy to take recommendations from a friend at church about books, movies, media etc. But what are we doing? We are responsible, not other parents for our kid's upbringing. Sure, ask your friends what they do, but don't stop there. Search out what God's Word says...develop your own convictions. We cannot afford to trust another person's word when our child's mind and spirit are at stake.
Who do you look to instead of God's Word to give you advice? Do you test everything by the Word?
