Today's episode is a recording of my very first live on Instagram, the first episode in my series called Lessons From A 6th Line. I discuss the vital lesson of accepting and even embracing learning through mistakes.
It is my belief that mistakes are an absolutely normal and necessary part of life and success and the societal pressure to be ashamed about making mistakes and to avoid them at all costs is very much to our detriment.
Furthermore I discuss that underneath our fear of failure is actually a fear of disappointment. Learning to sit with disappointment has been such a priceless and profound skill in my life and undoubtedly the experience of anyone who has achieved greatness.
So let's break down this 𝑓𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑓𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑢𝑟𝑒 and make way for a path to success through courage, passion and resilience. As my brilliant friend Cynthia says, "There are so many opportunities on the other side of fear."
