I have always been fascinated with the history of how we came about to the current day Republican and Democrat parties. Throughout our history we have seen the Federalist and Whig parties come and go, is there a chance that another legitimate third party could come into play? If not, how would the current day political parties evolve with the current fracture that is overtaking our nation?
