Reel Conversations is a film podcast that seeks to highlight the history of the Real to Reel International Film Festival, presented by the Cleveland County Arts Council. In this conversation, festival director Thomas Manning speaks with animator, illustrator, and filmmaker Ward Jenkins about the animated short Noir, an award-winning Real to Reel selection that won Best Professional Animation at the inaugural festival in 2000.
Real to Reel is celebrating 25 years with the 2024 festival, which will be held July 24-27 at the Joy Performance Center in Kings Mountain, NC.
