Series Title: Embracing Sabbath
Series Summary: The Sabbath is an ancient practice rooted in Creation and offered to God’s people as an outworking of his salvation. It is a 24-hour period where we stop from our normal rhythms of work to rest, delight, and worship God. In this series, we see how the Sabbath is first a gift given by God to human beings. We see that, Jesus called himself Lord of the Sabbath as a way to demonstrate the release and restoration that he brings and the future hope of rest offered to us in the gospel.
Passages: Genesis 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11
Speaker: Omar Ortiz
