Pastor Jamie Fitt brings the message - Jesus came as a revelation of the heart of the Father. He lived and died to demonstrate the love of God to us in the most tangible way possible. However, before He ascended into heaven, He stated that it was to our advantage that He went away, so that the Holy Spirit could come. The Bible goes on to reveal the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of adoption by which we call out, "Abba, Father."
The day of Pentecost marks a new chapter in the unfolding and revealing of the God of love. It isn't just a revealing; it's an invitation into the very being and nature of the God of love, who has come to live in us by the power of His Spirit.
John 14:16-18
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you
