David Bacon began his career in theater and did his best to make it big in Hollywood. But after a few short film debuts he was taken down in his prime. Who would want to hurt such a lovable man and not gain anything from it? Was there a vendetta against him? Did he have ties to the mob? Did someone want to hurt him for his family's money? Or was it a robbery gone wrong?
There are multiple theories and the case still remains open 81 years later.
