This week is a sensitive topic for me, but I didn’t want to be fully healed before I brought it to you. Last week I had explant surgery- which is the removal of my breast implants. I got them after having my second child.
A few years later I began having inflammation issues in my body. I had developed breast implant illness and a grade four capsular contracture. I needed to get them out!
So what in the world does this journey have to do with you and helping you to reach the next level in your faith? I believe we witness to the degree we witness. Which means, the more I desire to be a witness for God, the more I have to witness God.
I can’t desire to help more people get to know Jesus if I am not consistently getting to know Jesus! I cannot share His perfect love, if deep down I don’t accept His perfect love for myself.
Today, I'm sharing how I journeyed from a sense of false self to knowing and loving Jesus, others, and myself more.
