When I was younger, I'd put my value in the opinion of others. I'd find myself fighting to be seen by my peers. Being impressionable having been at a young age during this time, I would buy the clothes, buy the shoes, act the way everyone else did.
I tried to be liked, but always felt like I didn't belong.People made sure to let me know I didn't in their eyes also. When I realized that being different was actually a gift, I began to choose the route no one else was taking. Character defining moments like these, I am grateful for, and grateful the Lord took me through them so as to recognize who I am and stand for it.My identity and my purpose are no longer correlated by the likes, the comments, the opinions of others, but rather following Jesus and His commandments. I pray that this episode instills confidence into you and allows you to see that even if you're standing alone, at least you're standing for your purpose and what you were created to do.If you loved this episode, follow me!♡ Follow the podcast on Instagram: @AuthenticallyDivine♡ Follow my personal Instagram: @Alyssamdee♡ Listen & watch on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/6cXOePTEOe9c8gdpve1Xet?si=23b4787530584cde♡ Listen & watch on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@AuthenticallyDivinePodcast♡ Listen on Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/authentically-divine-with-alyssa-davis/id1790269851If you'd like to sponsor this podcast, email me: AuthenticallyDivinebyad@gmail.com My intro & outro were created by my friend and artist: Nosh!
