Today is all about a lady I’m sure you’ve heard of, Lizzie Borden. The ever popular jump roping song got things a little twisted, so today is all about what actually transpired on that day in 1892 and the trial that followed. (Spoiler alert: no one was whacked 40 times and the woman Lizzie possibly killed, Lizzie was acquitted, wasn’t actually her mother.)
