On this episode of Elevate & Thrive - Breaking Barriers for an Empowered Life, Coach Jen Smith Interviews Victoria Vakulchik who shares her story of immigrating to the United States with only $500 in her pocket and speaking no English, and the challenges she faced along the way to where she is now. She began her journey as a dishwasher in a small town in Maine, got laid off, and "promoted" to a housekeeper.
Over the next 20 years, she graduated from community college, and got her bachelor's in Accounting. She began her accounting career as an entry-level accountant and climbed to a Controller position. She shares her story of struggle, abuse, and the impact of her husband getting stage IV cancer, and passing away. She’s now a trained coach, reiki practitioner, and sound healer who believes that mindset can change everything.
