In Episode 2 of the Extra Lucky Podcast, Jess and Taryn sit down with Jennifer Varanini-Sanchez. Jennifer is a mom to 4 kids (3 biological sons and 1 adopted daughter). Her two youngest kids Joaquin age 15 has DS and Autism and Sofia age 14 has DS and was adopted from an orphanage in an Ukraine at 16 months old.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation, is a certified massage therapist, worked in Pharmaceutical sales and has owned several businesses. She’s currently a SEINT artist specializing in teaching women over 40 how to use makeup to enhance their natural beauty. She is also “mom”ager to her daughter Sofia’s modeling and acting career. She and her daughter are influencers and spread awareness about disability and adoption through their social media,blogs and 5 published children’s books. Jennifer loves traveling, meeting new people, and giving advice and comfort to moms on the journey of raising a child with a disability. She helped get Gigi's Playhouse Sacramento started and was a founding member of a Sacramento online and in person parents group called The Sisterhood which has grown to over 300 moms of children with DS in the Sacramento area.
