Hello fellow B-Listers!

Welcome to The B-Critics Podcast with Elizabeth Arnold and Courtney Thompson.

This week The B-Critics bring on guest critic Allison Jalapeno to discuss the movie 13 Going on 30. We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but we agree with Jenna, love IS a battlefield. Especially for a 13-year-old trying to fit into a 30-year-old’s world. Watching this 2004 rom-com as almost 30-year-olds gave the group a very different take vs the ideas they had as teens. The soundtrack, casting, and cameos add so much value to the movie, that you might just forget that 30-year-old Jenna Rink is a meanie or that her slumber party with the apartment building 13-year-olds was slightly inappropriate. Young Jenna got everything she wanted; she WAS 30, she was DEFINITELY flirty, and her professional life was THRIVING. But could she have gotten it all and NOT ruined other peoples’ lives? We sure think so.
