A man who's looking for a job mistakenly becomes involved with a bank robbery. He is later sentenced to death for a cop killing he didn't commit. The Shadow investigates in hopes of freeing the wrongly accused man.Notes: Bill Johnstone, who voices Paul Gordon, would take over the role of The Shadow after Orson Welles left the show in 1938. Future Oscar-winning film director Elia Kazan as Lefty is one of the hoodlums.
