Dan Holiday will do anything or go anywhere for an adventure, so his ad says. The first response he receives reads "You can help a person out of great trouble and gain an adventure for yourself if you call Chester-8945 and ask for Carla Williams". Of course, Dan Holiday calls and sets up a meeting with Ms Williams at a French restaurant. They meet. Dan finds out Carla has been blackmailed for five years but tonight is supposed to be the last payment. She wants Dan to go with her.
