Description

Join me on the first, but certainly not last, podcast episode bringing beautiful male energy and perspective to our human experience. In this candid conversation Paul shares his own personal mental health journey from leaving school at 16 and falling into a career unconsciously to now finding
himself an award-winning volunteer at one of the first Andy’s Man Clubs in Edinburgh, mental health first aider, life coach and spiritual healer.

That journey has been less than easy for Paul but he’s now able to share his own perspective on how the feeling of disconnection from himself and the life outside of himself resulted in some very dark moments which he thankfully did not act upon. Now, in a much better place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, Paul is able to use that experience to support men to be curious about life can hold for them and the importance of self love, self inquiry and self compassion.

Paul talks openly about how his 6ft 2in tough football playing, heavy drinking exterior tried to hide his soft fluffy interior (his words!) and how seeing a video online around the power of self love and life coaching changed the trajectory of his life. The strap line for Andy’s Man Club is #itsoktotalk and we most certainly did that together! I will certainly have Paul back on the show in the future but, for now, have a listen in and perhaps suggest this episode to any menfolk in your life you feel may benefit.

This is SUCH an important discussion – many more to come. ❤️

TW – we do discuss suicide in this episode so be mindful of
our own wellbeing when you listen. Please know you are important in this world and reach out to me, Paul or Andy’s Man Club if you need support.
