Description

In this episode the girls sit down and talk with Catherine Legge, award-winning producer and documentary filmmaker. Catherine works on the side of prison wives and criminal justice. She talks about her previous work in films such as Met While Incarcerated (2018), with Gigi who was filmed as the mysterious "Angela." She shares her passion of telling the human story of those that are incarcerated and their loved ones. She also discusses the idea of "Big Justice" in her upcoming documentary, The Murder That Never Happened, which tells the story of Jimmie Duncan. Jimmie has spent 30 years on Louisiana's Death Row convicted of a crime that didn't happen based on "junk science." Catherine explains how this case was a horribly wrongful conviction, and she shares her passion behind this work where she hopes to bring the truth to light. As always, the girls end the pod taking viewer/listener questions and comments.
