You need to slow down in order to speed up & what I mean by that is that it’s perfectly healthy to take a break. Not only that but it’s in our best interest to find ways to recharge our body + mind throughout the week. Think of us like rechargeable batteries, at some point we’re going to run out of energy and we need to stop to recharge back up to 100%. Whether that’s getting a few extra hours of sleep than we normally do, taking an ice bath, watching a movie at the end of a long week, we need to prioritize our recovery.
