Description

On the Feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica — the oldest church in Rome and the Pope’s own cathedral — Fr. Miguel invites us to reflect on what it truly means to be a temple of God.

Just as the Lateran Basilica was consecrated for worship and service to the Lord, each of us has been set apart through baptism for God’s purpose: to know Him, love Him, and serve Him in this life so that we may be happy with Him in the next.

Fr. Miguel encourages us to care for our “inner church” — through confession, prayer, and the practice of virtue — keeping our souls clean, ordered, and beautiful for the One who dwells within us.
