Description

As Christmas draws near, we turn to Our Blessed Mother, who waits expectantly for the birth of her Son. Chosen by God without presuming or assuming, Mary is disturbed and afraid — yet her fear does not stop her. Instead, it deepens her faith and hope in God’s promises.

This reflection explores Mary’s meditation on God’s Word, her complete surrender at the Annunciation, and how her yes made the first Christmas possible. As Advent comes to a close, we are invited to learn from Mary how to surrender our own plans, trust God in trials, and prepare our hearts to receive Christ anew.
