Today is Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent, a somber season of reflection, repentance, and preparation for Holy Week and Easter. We talk about this past Sunday and the Transfiguration of Jesus, when his full divinity is revealed in dazzling light and with a voice from heaven. In this scripture we see the good news of God revealed and we carry this truth into this new season of Lent, and every season of our lives.
