In this passage Paul goes to Peter face to face to offer correction. This might seem extreme, but not when it comes to something as important as the gospel. Faith alone in Jesus is our justification. Not our works, not our best day, not our best attempt. Unless we understand this, freedom will be choked out by fear and grace is quickly forgotten.
