Jaana Woodbury can be noted for her philanthropy and advocacy work in raising awareness towards addiction and mental health issues. Specifically, Jaana was part of an effort to shed light on family systems in addiction. Her family was featured on Sesame Street's, "Parental Addiction" series, which received a Daytime Emmy for best short film. Jaana has also been featured in publications such as Cosmopolitan, Hello Bello, and many more for sharing her knowledge and work in the treatment industry.
Jaana was recently part of a statewide initiative in Tennessee by The Williamson County Anti-drug Coalition, which is comprised of The Williamson County Health Department and other influential voices to create video messaging that provides information, resources, and hope for those struggling with mental health and addiction issues (www.youarenotalonetn.com).
Through Jaana’s advocacy work, she has become a respected voice nationally and was also featured in Shatterproof’s national campaign www.treatmentatlas.org) called “Atlas Treatment”, which provides treatment resources that are ethically sound and meets the needs of those struggling. Jaana is also featured in several podcasts including, Mainspring Wellness Family Therapy, The Sober Guy, Soberverse, As You Go (Rolling Hills Women Ministry), and The Red Songbird Foundation.
Today, Jaana serves on the advisory board for Red Songbird Foundation and as a junior board member for Shatterproof.
More recently Jaana completed a ministry residency at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, TN. Jaana strives to reach the lost by contending for the truth in Jesus and sharing her powerful testimony through her writing and content creation. Jaana is signed with United House Publishing to release her first book, Prayers of a Prodigal. Her first publication is scheduled to release in 2025 and will be available at all major retailers.
