Description

We are launching our inaugural episode and welcome Aravind Rajagopal from Baker Hughes, Richard Riggs from Saudi Aramco, and Mark Selby from Ceres Power join us to share their thoughts on how the energy storage sector will evolve.
Following our Investor Briefing on Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES), we decided to host our first series of podcasts with some of the movers and influencers in LDES to explore the issues and opportunities that are facing the market as it takes on a $2 trillion investment cycle.
Energy storage has become the critical enabler to electrifying the grid and mobility, and in the process, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, however our reliance on Lithium-ion batteries or pumped stored hydro won’t go far enough in term of scale or duration of discharge and resource availability. Fortunately, a wide range of solutions is emerging that could possibly fill the gap.
We are ask which technology will win? Or will there be multiple winners? Who is ready to deploy now? How should we get involved?
