Trish Bartley speaks with us about how mindfulness learning and practice can be helpful for those with cancer in an accessible way.

Trish has taught mindfulness to people with cancer since 2001. She developed the program, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Cancer (MBCT-Ca), with the support of John Teasdale and Mark Williams (MBCT founders) and has been taught and supported by Jon Kabat-Zinn (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction founder) since 2000. Trish published the MBCT-Ca teacher’s program handbook in 2012 and wrote Mindfulness, A Kindly Approach for People with Cancer in 2017, for people with cancer at any stage of their illness.
