Silva is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with nearly 20 years of experience in the social work and mental health field. Her work experiences include: 12 years as a Children's Social Worker helping children who have experienced abuse or neglect and helping parents with parenting skills; 5 years as a psychiatric social workers helping people with severe and persistent mental health disorders and conducting psychiatric evaluations of teens and adults who were suicidal, homicidal, or gravely disabled; 1 year as a child therapist; and for the past 4 years, she has been doing therapy in private practice helping adults struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, childhood trauma and parenting stress.
This year she launched her own therapy practice specializing in men's mental health providing therapy to adult men struggling with their mental health and also therapy for father struggling with parenting stress.
