Dr. Tamar Lawful, voted one of the 50 Influential Pharmacy Leaders of 2023, stands as a dedicated Integrative & Holistic Health Pharmacist with a special focus using genomics as a tool to empower women to prioritize their health, counteract chronic illness and reduce medication reliance. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences - Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 2004, earning licenses to practice in California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lawful developed a holistic healthcare model combining nutrition, genomics, and pharmacy. This led to the foundation of her company, LYFE Balance, Incorporated where she provides health coaching accompanied with personalized, medication-free healthcare plans for those wrestling with health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, hormonal disorders and weight gain.
Dr. Lawful shares her expertise on her podcast “Pivoting Pharmacy with Nutrigenomics”, part of the Pharmacy Podcast Network and serves as a consultant to health care practitioners who want to establish integrative health and wellness practices.
On a personal note, she spends her free time enjoying motherhood, music and spa days.
