Julie Bennett co-founded Lemonade Standers with her sister, Emily. Together, they are sisters and moms on a mission to find fun and playful ways for kids to learn and practice essential life skills, such as understanding how money works and how to connect with others.
Having experienced firsthand the pitfalls of modern shopping culture, where "just tap, slide, or insert" your card has made money nearly invisible to kids, they were inspired to take action. Their goal is to bring back the concept that kids learn best through play, experience, and practice—something as simple and relatable as a lemonade stand.
With over 35 years of combined corporate and entrepreneurial experience, two MBAs, a Master's in Aeronautical Science, hundreds of hours of career development coaching, and more than 3,000 hours of research, Julie and Emily created Lemonade Standers to help kids build the financial knowledge and skills they need to create the life they want.
