In this episode, I am joined by the incredible Dhorea Ramanula. Dhorea has an extraordinary story that will captivate and inspire you. As a woman of colour who is a Woman of Colour, Metis and White, she discusses the deeply distressing cost of living inauthentically as a way to belong. Dhorea's unique background and shockingly real story are both heartbreaking and soul-stirring. As the co-founder of Canada's national Suicide prevention line and a social worker who has spent countless hours working with people who struggle with addiction (among many other accomplishments and passions), Dhorea shares her perspective on the importance of making space for others to be fully themselves as access to healing.
Dhorea is currently working on an incredible project to bring a Holistic Women's Recovery Center to the Okanagan.
