In this lesson, Evangelist Chad Hale will discuss a story of the One who sees and cares for the hurting, overlooked and unexpected.
Genesis 16 tells the story of Hagar, an Egyptian servant mistreated and cast out after becoming pregnant by Abraham at Sarai’s request, but she is met in the wilderness by the angel of the Lord—God Himself—who sees her pain and gives her hope and a promise. This encounter reveals a powerful truth: God is not distant or indifferent but is the God who sees, hears, and cares, even for the forgotten and hurting. Just as Hagar was seen, we are seen by God today, and our faith is strengthened when we trust His promises, especially in the midst of suffering and doubt.
We invite our listeners to join us in this biblical lesson and its application to our daily Christian lives.
