Looking at James 1, we will see that sin begins with desire and opportunity but can be overcome by changing our desires, limiting opportunities, exercising self-control, and relying on God’s grace and forgiveness. Reminding listeners that victory over sin is possible—not through human strength, but through Jesus’ perfect sacrifice.
