In this lesson, Deacon Monte Wood will continue our theme month on Proverbs 23:23 and discuss the danger of compromise.
Using biblical examples of those who compromised with disastrous results (Adam and Eve, Aaron, Esau, Solomon, Peter) and those who stood firm (Noah, Joseph, Daniel, Jesus, the apostles), the lesson shows both the consequences and blessings of such choices. Believers must identify major causes of compromise—fear of rejection, societal pressure for tolerance, and adopting worldly trends. Believers need to guard the truth, reject false knowledge, and remain steadfast in living and teaching God’s Word.
We invite our listeners to join us in this biblical lesson and its application to our daily Christian lives.
