In this lesson, Brother Scott Smith will discuss the story we find in Numbers 21:4-9.
The story of Moses creating the bronze serpent initially symbolizes God's power to heal and deliver the Israelites from their suffering. However, over time, the people began to worship the serpent itself, turning it into an idol rather than acknowledging it as a tool of God's intervention. This shift reflects the danger of placing faith in objects rather than in the divine, ultimately leading to the destruction of the idol when it became a source of idolatry and disobedience.
We invite our listeners to join us in this biblical lesson and its application in our daily Christian lives.
