After 30 years of alcohol abuse, retired Army Major Jason Main finally hit bottom. It was June 2015 when his young daughter knocked on the door asking for a bedtime story. After sitting In the 12-step program meeting and sharing the story of his fledgling sobriety, he decided to start a non-profit what Is now called the LifeHouse Recovery Of Maryland. He owns a sober transition house supporting disabled veterans.
Main wants to be part of the solution. he has made it his mission to help others struggling with addiction. He has spoken to thousands of patients, Soldiers and instructors at schools, rehab centers and intervention training programs.
